Free Golden Acrylic Paint Lecture & Demonstration

The Ocala Art Group (OAG) is pleased to provide a lecture and demonstration by Golden Certified Working Artist, K. D. Tobin on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 11:00 am – 01:00 pm at the Appleton Museum of Arts, 4333 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL 34470. The program will be held in the Appleton Library and explore the endless possibilities of Golden acrylics from A to Z.

The City of Ocala will host a silent surplus auction Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the City of Ocala complex located at 2100 NE 30th Ave., near building 300.

The City will host these auctions regularly on the second Tuesday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon at the City of Ocala complex, 2100 NE 30th Ave., near building 300. West Ocala Wellness Community Garden Day – Saturday, Nov. 11

The City of Ocala will host a West Ocala Wellness Community Garden Day Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to noon at the community garden located at 2200 W Highway 40, between SW 21st and SW 23rd Avenue.

Community members are encouraged to attend and replant their crops for the spring, or start a new garden plot. Plots are available for $10 per year. The goal of the West Ocala Wellness Community Garden is to educate and provide an opportunity for citizens to plant, cultivate and harvest vegetables for their families.
